About this artwork

This delicate white butterfly is kissed with orange speckle from the heart of an azalea flower, the elegant folds and bloom of a magnolia form the bottom wings and young fern fronds stand tall for velvety antennae. A wall art piece from nature filled with a light and ethereal vibe for your home.

Unframed Artwork

The dimensions are the paper edge to edge.

Framed Artwork

Dimensions for framed artwork are slightly larger than unframed paper.

My printer takes great pride in their work and uses only the best archival materials.  Your art work is handled with care and a high attention to detail.

Paper & Ink

Artworks are printed onto a 300 gsm 100% cotton rag stock using genuine Epson Ultrachrome Pro inks on the latest Epson P20070 printer. Your giclee print will be dry mounted to an acid free 5 mm foam board using an archival adhesive film.

Framed Artworks

All frames are made from locally sourced sustainable Australian hardwood. The timber is milled, hand sanded and painted. Off the shelf or pre fabricated products are never used. You can be assured of the highest quality gallery grade materials.

Unframed Artworks

Unframed artworks will arrive safely within a robust cylinder.  Please note that some of our prints are not 'standard sizes', ie. you may not be able to find a retail frame that will fit.

Acrylic

The 3mm Plexiglass used is museum grade. It is lighter than glass, helps to protect your work from UV damage and also has the added advantage of being shatter proof. It is a quality product in comparison to the plastic you might find in store bought kit frames.

Finishing

Your frame will be carefully hand assembled, sealed using framer’s wax tape and wired so it is ready to hang on your wall. It will arrive carefully wrapped in custom made, bump proof environmentally sustainable packaging.

Limited Edition Print

Each print is one of a limited number and is accompanied with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from my printer.

Made to Order

Each artwork is made to order so as to avoid waste.

All of the photos that form the basis of my artworks and designs are from walks around my neighbourhood in Sydney and adventures out into the wider world.  Each floral art piece is created using layer upon layer of photographs and filters.  There are flowers and buds, bees and dragonflies, pollen and petals, leaves and seeds. So many beautiful little details from the nature that surrounds us and it is what inspires me.

I am proud to say that all of my artworks and products are created and produced in Australia. Each piece is an original artwork and comes with its own certificate to authenticate it's originality and a number if it is one of a limited series.  These certificates are independently signed by the printer.

Timber Frame

The frames are produced from locally-sourced Victorian ash which has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. FSC certification provides the highest level of protection for rare and endangered forests and wildlife of any existing forest certification scheme and is the only system that mandates consultation with local Indigenous Peoples.

Paper

Images are printed to a 310 gsm 100% cotton rag, which is considered the most environmentally friendly of photographic paper as it uses no tree fibres, instead it is produced from a recycled by-product of the textile making industry. While the cotton industry is not kind to the environment, as this is a by-product, it is considered to have low environmental impact as no cotton is grown specifically to make the paper stock

Packaging

When shipping, instead of conventional bubble wrap, prints are wrapped in Polycell EcoPure, a biodegradable bubble wrap alternative which is designed to degrade in a landfill overtime.  The delivery boxes are made from 3BC stock which is comprised of 77% recycled content and 33% from FSC certified kraft fibres that are sourced from Gippsland in Victoria.

Delivery

All deliveries are 100% Carbon Neutral. The distribution company is partnered with an internationally recognised carbon solutions provider that will offset the carbon footprint of your frame from pick up to delivery.

Built to Last

Each frame, from a mini to full-scale print, is hand produced from scratch in a Melbourne workshop to a museum standard, meaning your art will be protected for over 100 years. Each print is shielded with 3mm plexiglass, a shatter-proof, museum-grade alternative to glass which also protects your work from UV damage and fading over time.

Intentional Design

The four sizes which have been chosen are based on material size to maximise yield and minimise off-cut wastage. Whilst foam core and plexiglass aren't eco-friendly options, so until a quality alternatives found the intention is to eliminate all unnecessary wastage.
